Colorful Dragonflies

Dragonflies don’t begin life where it is easy.  They begin COVERED…under WATER!  They later emerge with wings and rise above the sinking feeling of the water trapping them in and embark on a new journey.  Those beautiful wings carry them to new places where they see new things and experience new sounds.  Man…who can relate to that?! 

Dragonflies are often seen as inspired by the beauty of growth, healing and faith.  They serve as a reminder to TRUST.  Trust the growth that happens below the surface and to be transformed into something special.  “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” -Romans 12:2

Each piece of this art was created from painted art paper and then each piece was torn and carefully curated to combine the broken pieces into something beautiful. Their vibrant little wings are reminders that God is always creating something new within us.  “God is within her, she will not fall.” -Psalms 46:5

These whimsical dragonflies are the sweetest!! Each one is one of a kind. They measure 3.5x3.5 and have a hard resin coating on top giving them the shine they deserve.
Dragonflies are also seen as messengers offering guidance. 
They are just one of God’s beautiful creations.
